MeteorIQ Technologies LLC (“MeteorIQ,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides software and related professional services to business customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information in connection with our services, customer accounts, business operations, and employment activities.

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that MeteorIQ handles through:

• MeteorIQ software products and services;
• Customer user accounts;
• Technical and usage information generated through use of our services;
• Customer support and other business communications; and
• Employment and recruiting activities.

MeteorIQ provides its services to businesses and other organizations. Our services are not intended for personal, household, or consumer use.

Customer agreements, data processing agreements, and other contractual terms may contain additional provisions governing customer data. If those provisions conflict with this Privacy Policy, the applicable contractual provisions will control.

Our Role in Processing Customer Data

When MeteorIQ processes personal information contained in data submitted or made available by a customer, MeteorIQ generally acts as a service provider or data processor on behalf of that customer.

The customer determines why and how that information is processed. MeteorIQ processes the information only:

• To provide the contracted services;
• In accordance with the customer’s documented instructions;
• As permitted by the applicable agreement; or
• As required by law.

Individuals seeking to exercise rights concerning personal information controlled by a MeteorIQ customer should ordinarily direct their request to that customer. MeteorIQ will reasonably assist customers in responding to valid requests as required by applicable law and contract.

Personal Information We Collect

Depending on the circumstances, MeteorIQ may collect the following categories of personal information:

Customer account information

This may include:

• Name;
• Business email address;
• Employer or organization;
• Job title or business role;
• Account username or identifier;
• Authentication and access information; and
• Customer support communications.

Usage and technical information

When users access our services, we may collect:

• Internet Protocol address;
• Browser and device information;
• Operating system information;
• Login dates and times;
• Authentication and security events;
• Pages, features, or functions accessed;
• Application activity and system logs;

Customer-provided data

Customers may submit or provide access to information for processing through the services. The content and categories of this information are determined by the customer.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate authority and legal basis to provide this information to MeteorIQ.

Employee and applicant information

MeteorIQ may collect information relating to employees, contractors, and job applicants, including:

• Contact and identification information;
• Employment history and qualifications;
• Résumés and application materials;
• Interview and evaluation information;
• Compensation, payroll, and benefits information;
• Tax and legally required employment records; and
• Information needed to administer the employment or contractor relationship.

How We Use Personal Information

MeteorIQ may use personal information to:

• Create and administer customer accounts;
• Provide, maintain, support, and improve our services;

• Detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents, fraud, misuse, or unauthorized activity;

• Comply with legal, regulatory, contractual, and audit requirements;
• Enforce our agreements and protect our legal rights;
• Communicate with customers about their accounts or services;
• Evaluate applicants and administer employment relationships; and
• Complete a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

MeteorIQ does not use customer-provided personal information for purposes unrelated to providing the contracted services.

How We Disclose Personal Information

MeteorIQ may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

Service providers and subprocessors

We may engage third-party service providers to support areas such as cloud hosting, software development, communications, identity management, monitoring, security, professional services, and business administration.

These providers are permitted to access personal information only as reasonably necessary to provide services to MeteorIQ and are expected to protect the information through appropriate contractual, confidentiality, and security obligations.

Customer-authorized disclosures

We may disclose information when directed or authorized by the applicable customer or user.

Legal and security requirements

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

• Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
• Protect the security, integrity, or availability of our systems;
• Investigate suspected fraud, misuse, or unlawful activity;
• Protect the rights, safety, or property of MeteorIQ, our customers, users, or others; or
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Corporate transactions

Information may be disclosed in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.

MeteorIQ does not sell customer personal information or disclose it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data Retention

MeteorIQ retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide the services;
• Fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy;
• Meet contractual obligations;
• Maintain appropriate business and security records;
• Resolve disputes;
• Enforce agreements; and
• Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and audit requirements.

Customer data is retained and deleted in accordance with the applicable customer agreement, data retention policies, and documented customer instructions.

Information may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, or archival systems until it is deleted or overwritten in accordance with MeteorIQ’s retention and backup procedures.

Information Security

MeteorIQ maintains administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction.

These safeguards may include those listed below and more information can be found in the relevant company policies.

• Access controls and authentication requirements;
• Encryption where appropriate;
• Security monitoring and logging;
• Vulnerability and change management;
• Incident response procedures;
• Employee security and privacy training;
• Vendor risk management; and
• Business continuity and recovery measures.

No system or method of transmitting or storing information can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Customers and users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.

International Processing

MeteorIQ and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate.

Where required, MeteorIQ will use appropriate contractual or other safeguards for transfers of personal information between jurisdictions.

Privacy Rights and Requests

Depending on the applicable law and the individual’s location, an individual may have rights regarding their personal information, which may include the right to:

• Request access to personal information;
• Request correction of inaccurate information;
• Request deletion of information;
• Request restriction of or object to certain processing;
• Request a portable copy of information; or
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

These rights may be subject to legal exceptions and verification requirements.

For information controlled by a MeteorIQ customer, requests should generally be submitted directly to that customer. MeteorIQ will assist the customer as required by applicable law and contract.

Requests relating to information controlled directly by MeteorIQ may be submitted using the contact information below. MeteorIQ will not unlawfully discriminate against an individual for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Children’s Information

MeteorIQ’s services are designed for business customers and authorized business users. They are not directed to children, and MeteorIQ does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

If we learn that personal information from a child was collected directly by MeteorIQ inappropriately, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

MeteorIQ may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, business practices, legal requirements, or security and privacy program.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice through our services, by email, or through another appropriate method.
